An international award-winning photographic artist, my passions are my cameras and wild things - birds, weeds, flowers and animals with an occasional bug or other creepy-crawly thrown in.

I would also classify myself as an educator and my special joy is teaching people, especially children, about the wonders of Mother Nature. This site feeds both the artist and the teacher in me.

This website is one that will never be finished. I have been shooting weeds and wildflowers digitally for over 10 years and have tens of thousands of images, but there are always more pictures to take, new plants and birds to discover and new things to research about them. While this site, to date, is focused mainly on the wild plants and birds I found in the Kelowna BC area, some are found everywhere in North America.

I hope you have found this site beneficial, learned about the plants in your neighbourhood and especially, that it has helped you see the artwork Mother Nature provides for us everywhere. If my artistic endeavours have provided a smile or an "oooh" or an "awww", please let me know.
